OK so first thing to get out of the way is that Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts is NOT a Banjo-Threeie ... or the spiritual successor to Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie (both of which can be played on the XBLA in all their retro glory!).

I think Nuts & Bolts is more similar to LEGO Racers (great game) but with all the charm and crazy Rare-ness that you'd expect from a Banjo game. And it's all the better for it, coz really this is a brilliant game (but maybe not the brilliant game people were expecting/wanting).

The odd moments of classic platforming are just amazing - especially climbing right to the top of LOG's castle - and the vehicle creating tools are easy to grasp, but have tons of depth ... although the physics employed are a bit screwed up, but then who cares ... it's a Banjo game after all!
